Guess who got accepted to NYU?!

WOW WOW WOW!! So yesterday was such a great day for me :) I finally heard back from New York University and I got accepted to their Social Work program for Graduate School :D :D :D 

This is how it happened: I was late to my first class of the day on April 1, 2011. I sat down and was doing homework for my next class when I got an e-mail on my phone that said "You decision has been made, please click this link login and view your letter." MANNN was I nervous! I was shaking while I logged in on my phone but as soon as I read the first paragraph I was nearly in tears. Of course I left class to call my mommma and tell her the great news and all she said was "you are really going to leave me?" lol then of course I sent a text to those special ones, my brother, my sisters, cousins, and some other close friends and they were alllll so supportive :D 

Only God knows how dearly I have longed for a change in my life and I am trying to take this as an opportunity that only GOD could give me. Although nothing is set in stone yet, my dream is to move to New York and pursue my career and life over there. This past year was so hard for me. So many changes in my life that I never would have expected. I am praying for the Lord to guide my every decision and any step I may take from here on out.

Hello lovely people. I find it funny I am writing to people, people who probably do no even read my blog lol Well just in case you pass through my blog, HI!!!!!!!!

So I am settling down, getting all my things together to go back to school tomorrow. Spring break came and went too fast for words. Thank God I have less than two months left of school until I GRADUATE!! WOW cannot believe, I will be walking that stage, getting my B.S in Family Science and minor in Spanish from a recognized University. My God has been so faithful, He leaves me speechless all the time. So here is to the rest of the semester!

Do Not Leave me Spring Break

So technically I only have two days left of spring break. WHERE DID THE TIME GO?! It felt like it was yesterday when I got off work and raced home to spend time with my Loly! Spring break has been pretty chill. Have not done much out of the ordinary. I did get to watch the movie Limitless, which was not all that but mannn Bradley Cooper is a little cutieeee ;) I was also able to catch up on some much needed SLEEEEEP! Thank the Lord! So thankful this is my last semester of undergrad but still so nervous about my GRAD school plans. The only two schools I applied to were in Baltimore and New York. I hope to hear back from them before the end of April.

Off to enjoy the rest of my spring break :)

Pretty Little Liars Finale

I became obsessed with Pretty Little Liars last summer. I was soo obsessed, I could not even miss an episode. So the Season Two finale was tonight and it was not all that (don't kill me) lol I think it was getting more intense this season but once they started adding so many different people into the plot, it was hard to keep up with so many people. So tonight's episode had these crazy girls running from Ian. Not too catchy for me but that cop was sketchy since the start. Not too impressed about the finale but the new Season starts in June on Tuesday nights, let's hope I am still a fan hahaha.

My First Blog

Hi Friends!
I think it is about time that I start blogging again. During High School I had XANGA but blogging is just an amazing way to express what I feel and just something I want to start doing again. It's Spring Break time so I think right now is the perfect timeeee! I have been getting ready to graduate in May, and I cannot wait! I am still waiting to hear back from some graduate schools for the fall, but leaving it ALL in God's hands.
